Sitan 500/85 Mg Tablet is a medicine to treat migraines and cluster headaches. It does not prevent these conditions. It’s not fully understood what causes migraines and cluster headaches, but it may be due to the temporary widening of blood vessels in your brain. Sumatriptan works by narrowing these blood vessels again.

This medicine should be used after a migraine headache starts. It should not be used to prevent a migraine headache. If your headache improves but does not completely disappear after taking this medicine, you may need a second dose. If you need to take a second dose, wait at least 2 hours .
