Caster Tablet is used to prevent and treat bacterial infection of the urinary tract and inner layers of the skin. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia). It belongs to a group of medicines called macrolide antibiotics. Also treats respiratory infections from both upper and lower airways, such as otitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis and pneumonia.

Caster Tablet prevents bacteria from growing, by interfering with their protein synthesis. Take Caster Tablet as directed by your physician. The usual dose is a 150 mg tablet twice daily, taken at morning and evening, before meals.
