Barizold Suspension 100mg/5ml (Linezolid) is used to treat infections, including Pneumonia, Skin infections, Severe or recurrent duodenal and gastric ulcertion and infections that are resistant to other antibiotics. Linezolid is in a class of antibacterials called oxazolidinones. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Antibiotics such as Barizold will not work for colds, flu, and other viral infections.
It can cause Diarrhea, Stomach pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Itching, skin rash, Tongue discoloration
When not to use: It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
Contraindication: Barizold Suspension 100mg/5ml 60ml is contraindicated in conditions like Breast feeding.
