Convolvulus scammonia: Scammony exerts its effect when it reaches in the duodenum, mixes with excess bile and takes away bile due to its cathartic action to bring loose stools. It also improves the action of other purgatives. Pimpinella anisum: It is used to prevent flatulence and colic. It is a reliable remedy for dyspepsia, relieves flatulence, indigestion, colic in children and helps to diminish the griping of purgatives.
Operculina turpethum: As purgative (For phlegmatic and bilious humours in excess) its roots are considered beneficial.
