Polyfer 60ml Syrup (Iron Hydroxide Polymaltose) is an anti-anemic medication. It replenishes the iron stores in your body. It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in anoxic seizures, anemia due to folic acid deficiency, folate deficiency . It has some side effects such as Bitter taste in the mouth, Allergic rejection, Bloating, Abdominal pain. It is also used in the treatment of anemia due to chronic kidney disease.
