Plendil 5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called “calcium channel blockers”. Plendil is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It lowers blood pressure by dilating small blood vessels. It does not negatively affect the heart function. Plendil is used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart and chest pain brought on by for example exercise and stress (angina pectoris).
