✅ Indications
LINZY is indicated for the treatment of:
- Nosocomial pneumonia
- Community-acquired pneumonia
- Complicated skin and skin structure infections, including diabetic foot infections without osteomyelitis
- Infections caused by resistant Gram-positive bacteria, such as:
- Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
- Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium (VRE)
💉 Dosage & Administration
- Adults and adolescents (≥12 years): 600 mg every 12 hours for 10–14 days
- Children (<12 years): 10 mg/kg every 8 hours for 10–14 days

⚠️ Warnings & Precautions
- Drug Interactions: Linezolid is a reversible, non-selective monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Concurrent use with serotonergic agents (e.g., SSRIs) or tyramine-rich foods (e.g., aged cheeses, fermented products) may increase the risk of serotonin syndrome.
- Hematologic Effects: Prolonged use may lead to myelosuppression. Regular monitoring of complete blood counts is recommended.
