Itaglip Plus 50mg+500mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine. Itaglip Plus 50mg+500mg Tablet is a combination of Sitagliptin and Metformin. Sitagliptin belongs to a class of drugs known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (DPP-4 inhibitors) or gliptins and Metformin belongs to the class known as Biguanides. Itaglip Plus 50mg+500mg Tablet is best indicated for the treatment of high blood sugar levels caused by type 2 diabetes. This medicine is used with a proper diet and exercise program and possibly with other medications to control high blood sugar.
