Cytocarb 450mg injection is composed of Carboplatin (450mg). It is a platinum-containing chemotherapy medicine, which belongs to the alkylating agents group of medicines. It is used to treat various cancers such as, ovarian, lung, endometrium (lining of uterus), esophageal, breast, head and neck, bladder, cervical, osteogenic sarcoma etc. It prevents growth of cancerous cells by damaging their DNA that aids in its proliferation.
