What is a semi automatic biopsy gun?

It is a disposable spring loaded biopsy device used for histological core samples from soft tissue and organs. Two part guilotine type needle with depth marks and echogenic marker placed on the distal tip.

The Biopsy Semi-Automatic, spring loaded biopsy instrument is compact, lightweight, disposable and adjustable. An optional “sure-fit” coaxial introducer needle is available packaged separately (N302) or packaged in combination with the matching Biopsy Semi-Automatic Biopsy Instrument (NS301).
