Dosage and Administration:
- Recommended Dose: One 180 mg tablet taken orally once daily, with or without food.
Common Side Effects:
- Hyperuricemia (elevated uric acid levels)
- Gout
- Tendon rupture
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Muscle spasms
- Back pain
- Abdominal pain or discomfort
- Anemia
- Elevated liver enzymes
