Each Algocin tablet contains Ciprofloxacin HC1, H2O (USP) equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 500mg .
Description:
Algocin is a synthetic broad spectrum antibacterial agent for oral administration. It has invitro activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms.
Indications:
• Urinary tract infections
• Chronic bacterial prostatitis
• Lower respiratory tract infections
• Acute sinusitis
• Skin and skin structure infections
• Bone & joint infections
• Complicated intra-abdominal infections (used in combination with metronidazole)
• Infectious diarrhea
• Typhoid & para typhoid
• Uncomplicated cervical and urethral gonorrhea
• Acute uncomplicated cystitis in females
• Inhalational anthrax (post-exposure)
